It’s been exactly a week when it was announced Charlie Murphy passed after his battle with Leukemia. The comedy great was 57 years old. Last night at a church in New Jersey; it was time for friends and family of Murphy’s to say goodbye. In a small intimate setting, Dave Chappelle, Neal Brennan, Donnell Rawlings, George Lopez, DL Hughley, Cedric The Entertainer, Affion Crockett, and many more gathered to lay down the well respected comedian.
Charlie Murphy‘s family and friends gathered in New Jersey on Wednesday evening to celebrate the late comedian’s life. Dave Chappelle, George Lopez, Cedric the Entertainer and more paid their respects, one week after Murphy passed away at the age of 57 after a battle with leukemia. “We love you charlie RIP keep doing it big,” Rawlings captioned a different photo of the friends. Murphy, who is Eddie Murphy‘s older brother, died in a New York City hospital on Apr. 12.
