JB Smoove will no longer join Martin Lawrence on future dates of the ‘LIT AF Tour’. Today, the veteran comedian announced on his social media that he has decided to not perform on the tour for it’s remaining dates. He would go on to directly connect his stop in Atlanta on the tour as a reason for his decision. Last week, JB would headline in Atlanta but would be met by booes from the audience. While on stage, he would make some unfavorable remarks towards the city of Atlanta and then cut his performance short to exit the stage.
The next stop for Lawrence’s LIT AF Tour will be tonight in Brooklyn.
“Hey everyone, in case you haven’t heard I decided to exit the LIT AF tour. As it became clear in Atlanta last week. I realized that between my own national Lollygaggin tour and my tv schedule I couldn’t bring my best to the LITAF shows. Brooklyn would have been a blast!! Have fun tonight!! Peace and Blessing Marty Mar! Thank you again. Stay Lit!!” #standuplife #stillsmoove #nyc #appreciationalways on a side note… I have decided to run for public office #jbsmoove2020 Ruckus times call for Ruckus solutions.” – JB
