Steve Harvey And Jerry Seinfeld Both Say Being A Comedian Is Not For The Weak

Before a new season of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, Steve Harvey and Jerry Seinfeld are sharing that the road to comedy success isn’t easy. As two of comedy’s most successful comedians, both Steve and Jerry recently expressed the tough road of making it in comedy. While addressing the audience at a taping of Family Feud, Steve shared why he thinks comedy isn’t easy.

“This right here ain’t easy, this is crazy man… My son wants to be a comedian and I try to stir him out the way.. this is a hard life..getting booed, people walking out on you… throwing sh*t at you..,” Harvey explained.

In a sit down during this past CBS Sunday Morning, Jerry Seinfeld went on to explain a more detailed understanding of what it takes to be a comedian.

“You have to be kind of a ruthless person in some form, a relentless, ruthless person, that (attitude) cannot be taught… you can slap me night, after night, after night but I’m going to keep coming back… there’s also a kill instinct,” said Jerry.

We’re sure to here more on this conversation as Steve and Jerry talk one on one in a new episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. New season starts on June 3rd, check out the trailer.
