Tiffany Haddish Apologizes To Chris Rock For Tweet About His Comedy Special

A few days ago, Tiffany Haddish sent out a tweet publicly criticizing Chris Rock’s newest special. Tambourine. The exact tweet would go on to say, finally saw your Netflix special. Eh. #JordansFunnier.” The tweet, of course, took many by surprise as Tiffany suggested that Chris’s youngest brother, Jordan Rock is actually funnier. It would turn out that Haddish was actually a contestant on MTV’s Safe Word. Safe Word hosted by Terrence J works a little like ‘do or dare’ for celebrities. Last year we saw a similar situation take place when Kevin Hart stopped by the show and tweeted about Steve Harvey.

To clear the air about the tweet, Tiffany has now confirmed she was a contestant on Safe Word and would go on to commend Chris Rock on his new special.

Here’s what she wrote on Instagram to smooth things over:

“So last night I actually sat down and watch #Tamborine on @netflix starring @chrisrock Hands down one of the funniest special I have seen so far this year. This was one of my favorite jokes. And if @chrisrock reads this I hope he knows I was on that Game show Safeword with his little brother @jordanrock843 and I just wanted him to know what it feels like to win with a Black Queen! so sorry about the tweet on Monday, But now he might just end up with a black woman. My Goal is to make sure all Men I work with WIN so that in the end they all want to marry a Black woman.”

Chris Rock has yet to respond on the matter.
