Tracy Morgan is back on the road giving audiences new material on the stage. The biggest moment after his unfortunate accident was his well awaited return to Saturday Night Live. During his appearance on SNL in October of last year; he brought back some of his favorite characters. Tracy back on Saturday Night Live looked to be flawless but now he is admitting being nervous about the whole thing. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he ended up sharing how he was in his head about the show but found relief in words said by SNL creator Lorne Michaels.
THR: Were you nervous about doing live TV again?
During the dress show, we have a dresser that takes you from set to set and helps you change. I started getting in my own head. I thought the audience was feeling sorry for me. Lorne said they didn’t really need it to be funny, they were just glad to see me alive. I thank God, Lorne, NBC and that camel. He did exactly what he was supposed to do.
As of now, fans are currently awaiting Morgan’s return to TV with FX. In the same interview he did reveal that the project is currently in it’s writing process.
