Affion Crockett To Play Manager Of Rock Star In Fox’s ‘Detour’ Comedy

Affion may soon be headed back to TV, it was revealed this week that he has joined the cast of Fox’s comedy pilot, Detour. In the series, Affion will help bring in some laughs as he plays the manager of a Rock star who leaves behind a successful career.

In The Flow star Affion Crockett has been cast as a series regular in Fox’s single camera comedy pilot Detour, from 20th Century Fox TV. Inspired by the real-life story of Weezer lead singer Rivers Cuomo, Detour centers on Michael Sturges (Ben Aldridge), a charming rock star who, unable to rationalize his success, walks away from the spotlight at the height of his fame in an effort to rediscover the parts of his life he missed while he was busy becoming a music sensation and goes back to college.
