Anthony Anderson Delivers A Powerful Speech On President Obama & Hope

Last night Black-ish took on a real conversation for viewers as they addressed police brutality, and the black lives matter movement. The series got even more serious when Anthony Anderson shared the importance of his children looking at things more realistically than hope.

One scene, however, earned Anthony Anderson a special round of digital handclaps. Recalling his fear that his hope in an evolved America would be tragically “snatched,” the actor brought a unfortunate sentiment to national television.
