As Bill Cosby continues to battle it out in the courtroom over several sexual assault charges, some good news has come his way. Yesterday it was revealed that model Chloe Goins, who previously accused Cosby of sexually assaulting her in 2008, has moved on to drop the lawsuit without explanation.
One alleged Bill Cosby victim, once seen as a key component in getting Cosby to possibly face charges for sexual assault, has dropped a sexual assault lawsuit against Cosby. This is the second fortunate event to happen to Cosby who recently won a defamation lawsuit filed by a woman who accused him of sexual assault after she alleged Cosby had defamed her by calling her a “liar and an extortionist.” The dropped lawsuit comes from Chloe Goins a model who accused Cosby of sexually assaulting her in 2008 at the Playboy Mansion. Cosby’s lawyers have since said he wasn’t in Los Angeles on the date of the alleged incident. Goins was 18-year-old at the time of the alleged assault which she detailed to the Daily Mail saying she was drugged and went into a “fog” and felt “dizzy.” “I came to and remember seeing this big man crouched over me,” said Goins. “It was Bill Cosby and he was at my feet, kind of licking and kissing them and I think he bit my toe as that’s what woke me up…He jumped up, pulled his pants back up quickly and left.”
