Bill Cosby Sentenced To 3 To 10 Years In State Prison For Sexual Assault Case

Today, we all found out the fate of legendary stand-up comedian Bill Cosby for his sexual assault case involving Andrea Constand.

Cosby would enter a Pennsylvania courthouse this morning without his wife Camile Cosby by his side, to learn how much prison time he will see for his guilty verdict in the case. Pennsylvania judge Steven O’Neill, who is connected to Cosby’s case, has ruled that the 81-year-old comedian is to serve 3 to 10 years in prison, according to The Associated Press. This sentencing follows requests made by prosecutors for Cosby to receive 5 to 10 years in prison while Cosby’s team aimed for house arrest. Now leading up to Cosby’s sentencing, Judge Steven O’Neill would label Cosby as a “sexually violent predator” and it prompted many to realize that Cosby will more than likely be spending some time behind bars. Cosby will immediately begin serving his sentencing. How should the celebrated comedian’s legacy be remembered?
