If you were waiting to see if Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan will join forces again for Rush Hour, well wait no longer. After years of speculation, it appears that fans will officially be getting a Rush Hour 4. Today, Tucker joined ESPN’s The Plug podcast and revealed that he and Chan are teaming back up for the buddy-cop flick. “We’re working on it now…. it’s happening… this will be the one…. the rush of all rushes…,” Tucker shared with the show’s host. Back in October, Chan commented on a potential Rush Hour 4 and hinted that Tucker may have been the hold-up on the project coming together. Welcome back detectives Lee & Carter.
After one of the hosts asked Tucker if he and Jackie Chan would ever grace the world with more Rush Hour, Tucker replied with some magical words: “It’s happening.” “This is gonna be the rush of all rushes,” the comedian said. “Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.” He wasn’t able to reveal any more details, but for diehard Rush Hour fans that should be more than enough.
