Didn’t see this one coming. Turns out last week Corey Holcomb shared some unflattering remarks towards comedy icon Paul Mooney. In a reported phone interview with Tasty Clips Holcomb references Mooney’s appearance on the Arsenio Hall Show which he later went on to question the authenticity and lifestyle that Mooney projects.
But nothing got the comedian’s (Holcomb) ire more than what he thought was a disgraceful act by Paul Mooney on Arsenio Hall’s show. Said Holcomb: “I think it was a malicious act and a lack of respect for Arsenio. I get shock value comedy. If anybody gets it, it’s me. I feel like he meant that.” “I’ll go on record about Paul Mooney,” he continued. “He goes on stage and talks about everybody and everything but he never talks about his lifestyle that he spends with other guys. And that’s really disappointing, because you act like you the realest and whoop dee doo, but what are you doing? What are you scared of? I don’t think he’s a good guy. I don’t mind talking to him about it.”
