DC Young Fly To Star Opposite Of Lil Yachty For ‘How High 2’ – Exclusive

As reported, MTV has decided to continue the story of 2001’s ‘How High’ that originally starred rappers Redman and Method Man. In the now upcoming sequel of the stoner comedy, viewers will get a chance to meet the younger brother of one of the original film’s main characters. Last week it was announced that rapper Lil Yachty will take on a lead role in the film and now Comedy Hype has exclusively discovered that comedian DC Young Fly will join him on the adventure. According to Variety, Yachty will play Roger, an entrepreneur who goes on a magical hash-fueled journey with his friend (played by DC Young Fly) to fund their on-demand munchies delivery start-up. This marks some serious momentum for DC as he just wrapped the filming of ‘I Got The Hook Up 2’ from Master P along with a rememberable appearance on FOX’s newest series, ‘REL’.

Outside of his TV & film credits, DC has been touring the country under several live event banners. He’s currently making stops for Wild N’ Out’s latest tour, along with his ongoing podcast ‘The 85 South Show’ . It is also expected that DC will be joining veteran comedian Mike Epps on the road for an upcoming tour. Lastly, MTV viewers will get a chance to see DC again as Wild N’ Out season 13 begins filming this October in Atlanta.

‘How High 2’ is written by Alex Blagg, Neel Shah, Shawn Ries, and Artie Johann with Lil Yachty & others attached to executive produce the comedy. No word on a release date.
