Following the announcement of rapper Common joining the third installment of Barbershop, fellow Chicago native Deon Cole is being reported to also have joined the cast. Interesting enough this won’t be Deon’s first time in the Barbershop, back in 2004 Deon had a small cameo in Barbershop 2. For Barbershop 3, Deon returns as one of the films main characters.
There’s another new customer in New Line/MGM’s Barbershop 3. Actor-comic Deon Cole has joined the cast of the threequel opposite Ice Cube, Common and Cedric the Entertainer. He’ll play Dante, a fixture at the shop who shares his pithy comments on any subject under the sun, even though his cultural references are a few years out of date. His casting comes a day after Common secured a role in the pic.
