DL Hughley returned to CNN, last night and would discuss the 1-year anniversary of Charlottesville, VA’s ‘Unite The Right’ rally. The rally would show a unified front of white supremacists who felt the need to speak up. During his talk with CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, Hughley would make a strong stance on who can judge what is racist and what is not.
“White men… white people don’t get to decide what racism is….They were so bad at judging it every time it happened. They were bad at judging it during slavery. They were bad at judging it during Jim Crow. White people don’t get to play this game. You don’t get to decide what the rules are here.”
