Finesse Mitchell Tells Comedy Hype He Wants To See Hart, Epps, And Williams Work Together

Tonight on ‘Showtime’ at 10 PM, Finesse Mitchell will premiere his most recent comedy special, “The Spirit Told Me To Tell You”. As you should know the Atlanta raised stand-up comedian has built a respected resume that includes Saturday Night Live, A.N.T Farm, stand-up comedy shows and several writing credits. For a new episode of ‘Welcome to My House’ with host Nika Simone recorded from Hollywood’s ‘Laugh Factory’, Comedy Hype had the chance to get a better understanding of where Mitchell plans on taking things next.

Despite Mitchell being in the business for over 15 years, you’ve never heard about him publicly falling out with his peers. For Finesse he credits his understanding of remaining humble & giving respect as to how he’s stirred clear of any comedy beefs.

Comedy has always been competitive but as of recent fans have been able to see several examples of how serious joke-telling can be. In a preview clip of his ‘Welcome To My House’ episode, Finesse shared what he feels should happen between the public feud involving Kevin Hart, Mike Epps, and Katt Williams. The SNL Alumn would go on to hint that the three men should take a look in the comedy history books to when Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, and Eddie Murphy understood the impact of working together.

“Lets get a dope writer, lets put a script together”
