Consider it a comedy first. Over the weekend ‘The Comedy Get Down Tour’ with George Lopez, DL Hughley, Cedric The Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, and the late Charlie Murphy stopped in Nashville, Tennesse. The Nashville show would mark the tour’s 100th performance and which the comedians would end up celebrating the milestone in a really cool way. In true NBA Finals fashion, the comedians were gifted with custom rings that included images of Richard Pryor, and the late Charlie Murphy. Each ring would also display the name’s of the comedians. George Lopez who originally started the tour, would go on to share some of the rings’ inspirations.
“I asked @officialfantasyrings to create these one of a kind #Chingon rings. The reason we started the tour on one side #RichardPryor – Statue, and our brother who we all loved and honor every show Mr #CharlieMurphy who we lost last year on the other side of the ring.” – Lopez shared on his Instagram.
