Following news of his new series getting picked up by NBC, Jerrod Carmichael caught up with The Champs podcast with Neal Brennan & Moshe Kasher. To get the conversation started they dive into the topic of black sitcoms, and later talks criticism he might receive for his comedy & career goals.   1. I saw the special and hated it and this interview does offer some insight on his approach but his logic is flawed in my opinion. Surprised these white podcasters could point out these considerations a black artist considers (or doesn’t in this instance). Kid is smart, humor sucks…it doesn’t expand black consciousness it supports self hate…
