While a good portion of Los Angeles celebrated the news of NBA All-Star LeBron James joining their Lakers, John Witherspoon wasn’t afraid to share he felt differently about it. In a recent run-in with ‘TMZ Sports’, Witherspoon would tell the cameras that he didn’t think James could actually help Los Angeles’s loved basketball team. “He ain’t going to help them Lakers … Help them do what? Lose the title?… He holds the ball too long,” Witherspoon would tell the TMZ cameraman before stepping into his awaited car. Before things would end, Witherspoon would go on to mention that he was however interested to work with James on a few of his film projects. Check out the full exchange, below.
