Life after The Daily Show hasn’t been too bad for Jon Stewart. The former host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show has decided to give fans two upcoming comedy specials over at HBO. 21 years has passed since his last special, so we’re certain he has a lot to touch on. Check out the details below.
The former Daily Show host is set to headline two comedy specials at HBO. The news was announced at the Television Critics Association press tour on Wednesday afternoon. Stewart will return to HBO, where he has a four-year production deal, for his first stand-up special since the HBO’s 1996 Jon Stewart: Unleavened. The date and location of the new specials have yet to be confirmed. “We’re excited to bring Jon to the network with this pair of specials,” said HBO’s programming president Casey Bloys. “We’ve all missed his uniquely thoughtful brand of humor.”
