Justin Hires is getting busy behind the scenes; the comedian and actor has just locked in a partnership with 50 Cent and Tucker Tooley Ent. to produce a comedy he wrote, Homecoming. The movie will center around college life at an African-American university with Hires as one of the leads. The story will follow there friends who want to check out the university’s most exclusive party. News broke yesterday via Deadline. Currently Hires has been doing stand-up dates while filming a new season of MacGyver on CBS.
Tucker Tooley Entertainment has picked up the comedic script Homecoming from actor-comedian Justin Hires (CBS’ MacGyver). The company will produce the project with rapper-entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, marking the second collaboration between the two after Den of Thieves. Hires will also play one of the leads in the film. The story follows three friends in their senior year at a historically African-American college who plan to celebrate their final homecoming by trying to get in to the most exclusive house party on campus. Jason Barhydt of Tooley Entertainment is an executive producer.
