Kevin Hart aka ‘Mini-Mogul’ is in the process of launching his own on-demand video streaming service named ‘Laugh Out Loud’. The service launched in partnership with Lionsgate will work similarly to the popular on-demand streaming service Netflix. ‘Laugh Out Loud’ will be used as a vehicle to release exclusive Kevin Hart content outside of his theatrical cinematic releases and his live stand-up tours. In a released statement, Hart spoke about the venture saying; ‘Lionsgate has always been a great partner of mine, and I’m more than excited to take our business and creative relationship to new levels.’ Hart continues, “I understand the direction in which the television business is headed, and I see this big new space toward which audiences are starting to gravitate. I believe launching this venture now puts us ahead of the pack.” The service will also feature content from social media stars & up-&-coming stand-ups.
Kevin went on to take to Instagram to further comment on the new venture;
I have my Mogul hat on ladies & gentleman….I am so proud of this moment. Major thank you to Lionsgate for not only believing in my vision but backing it to the fullest. We are about to bring you comedy content from all over the globe….the “Laugh Out Loud” network will be a MULTICULTURAL platform for comedy!!!! My life dream is to bring the world closer thru laughter & this network will bring me closer to accomplishing that goal. I’m looking forward to providing opportunities & a platform for this generations as well as the next funniest content providers!!!!! Let’s change the world!!!!
