Since his career has went into overdrive, Kevin Hart is inspiring a new rise of comedians who see the levels quick wit and a microphone can take them. In a recent talk with The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin answered a question which focused on advice he would give to all those brave enough to jump into comedy. His message was simple, “Do it”. Here’s an excerpt of what he had to say, below.
A lot of people want to get into comedy and talk about it, but you don’t realize the first step to getting into comedy is actually going to do it,” said Hart. “You can’t do things that you don’t put actions behind. So sit down, take a piece of paper, write out your thoughts and then go to an amateur night and try them. If it doesn’t go well, see what worked, what didn’t work and go back and try it again. But don’t be a talker, be a doer.
Their conversation touched on several other things including with his working relationship with The Rock to what he enjoys doing on his time off. Kevin also hinted that he is planning to hit some more dates on the road.
