Fans were just about to see Kevin Hart take on a more serious role this March. His anticipated drama, The Upside, with actor Bryan Cranston has been pulled from release by the Weinstein Company. The project was originally set to hit theaters on March 9th but will now be put on hold as the company works a few things out internally.
Towards the end of last year, the companies co-founder, Harvey Weinstein ended up in sexual assault scandal that rocked Hollywood. The Upside is expected to hit theaters this year along with other Weinstein produced projects that were also pulled. On a positive note, Hart’s newest film Jumanji has been killing the box office.
