Meagan Good Is Joining Jay Pharoah On Showtime’s ‘White Famous’ Series

Jay Pharoah has been hard at work with his upcoming Showtime series, White Famous. As mentioned the series executive produced by Jamie Foxx will tell the story of a comedian coming up and looking to make it big. As a way to add more Hollywood muscle to the project, they have now added actress Meagan Good into the mix. She expected to feature on a few episodes.

Showtime’s forthcoming comedy White Famous is staging a unique Californication reunion. Actress Meagan Good has been tapped to appear in two episodes of the forthcoming comedy starring Jay Pharoah — and she’ll be reprising her role from the premium cable network’s Californication. Good reprises Kali, a young pop star who is friends with Sadie (Cleopatra Coleman), the ex-girlfriend of Floyd (SNL alum Pharoah) and mother of his son. With the role, Good reunites with Californication showrunner Tom Kapinos on the comedy exec produced by Jamie Foxx. Set to premiere in the fall, White Famous is based on Foxx’s experiences coming up in the business.
