For his newly announced position at Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Michael Che joins the correspondent team to help find the comedy in current news and events. To hint to what fans can expect Michael wrote on Instagram, “I get all my news from worldstar. be prepared to hear reports about rap beefs & lesbian brawls”.
“The Daily Show” has added another new correspondent to “The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!” In March, the show introduced, Jordan Klepper, the first addition to the show’s cast in two years. And just this morning, Comedy Central announced that comedian and “SNL” writer Michael Che will join the show as a correspondent in June. Che, who has been a fixture of the New York comedy scene for several years now, joined “Saturday Night Live” as a full-time writer in 2013. He won “New York’s Funniest Stand-Up” in 2012 and has been featured on multiple “best of” comedy lists since, including Rolling Stone’s “50 Funniest People” and Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch.”
