Mike Epps’s Uncle Buck Series Coming To ABC On June 14th


Mike Epps has fans awaiting two major things in his career as of lately; his film as Richard Pryor & his first starring role in a TV series with Uncle Buck.  ABC, who will be backing Epps in the Uncle Buck TV reboot , has went on to announce that the new series will be premiering on June 14 at 9PM/8C.  The network went on to reveal the official news yesterday.

Get ready to laugh out loud this summer with TV’s most charming uncle, Uncle Buck! ABC officially announced that the highly anticipated comedy is set to premiere TUESDAY JUNE 14 9|8c. Based on the hit movie of the same name, Uncle Buck (Mike Epps) is a charismatic hustler who has gotten by on his charm for years. But when his brother, Will (James Lesure), and sister-in-law, Alexis (Nia Long), move to town and need help with their kids, he steps up to become their “manny,” and their lives will never be the same. Will and Alexis are wary of Buck’s questionable parenting skills, but his unique perspective and street smarts provide some unconventional solutions to raising their three rambunctious kids, who typically make a hobby out of terrorizing their nannies.


Mike has went on to explain his hopes of the new series being compared to Sandford And Son.
