Last night Chicago’s historic Jokes And Notes Comedy Club celebrated 10 years of their doors being open. Earlier last week we caught up with Jokes & Notes’s founder and owner Mary Lindsey, as she shared what the 10 year mark represents for the establishment, “To be here 10 years later is very monumental,” she told Comedy Hype. To celebrate the night, Lindsey invited several of the club’s previous and current comedy regulars to entertain the sold-out crowd. Comedians like Rudy Rush, Lil Rel (of Friends Of The People), B. Cole, Damon Williams, Baldhead Phillips, and Kellye Howard were some of the comedians who took to the stage as apart of the night’s event. George Wilborn, who has a history with Lindesy dating back to the days of Chicago’s All Jokes Aside comedy club, served as the night’s host. A few notable people were also in attendance, including Tamra Goins of the Shaq All-Star Comedy Jam franchise & talent agency Innovative Artist. The night ended with a few laughs and tears of joy from Lindsey, who reflected on the club’s history. Check out a few photos from the night above. Happy 10 years.
