Back in August, news started to circulate that a sequel for ‘Girls Trip’ was in the works. The Box Office smash would help break Tiffany Haddish and show the importance of representation in the theaters.
In a new interview with BuzzFeed’s AM to DM, Regina Hall, who starred in the 2017 comedy, says that things are coming together for the film’s second installment. Where should the girls head next?
The Flossy Posse might be back on the big screen sooner than we think. Regina Hall, who starred in Girls Trip alongside Tiffany Haddish, Queen Latifah, and Jada Pinkett Smith, said: “the girls are coming back.” “We’re trying to make that happen,” Hall told BuzzFeed News’ AM to DM. “So we’re trying to get everything together with the schedule. I think they’re working on something. I don’t know where we’re going. I don’t know where the girls are going, but… we’re going somewhere.”
