Bill Bellamy Is Still Killing Comedy Shows, 30 Years Later

Last weekend, Bill Bellamy joined by comedian D’Lai, and Darius Bradford made a trip to Atlanta, Georgia’s Uptown Comedy Corner. The comedy pioneer and respected comedian has of recent found himself back in comedy clubs to entertain live audiences. When it comes to a career in comedy, Bellamy has done what many upcoming comedians look to accomplish. TV, Classic film roles, and comedy tours are some of things you’ll find on his resume.

To our surprise the comedian is still selling out comedy shows. This past Saturday Bellamy put some work on the stage when he headlined three shows in one night. You would assume that the crowd would have slowed down when Bellamy’s 11PM show (last for the night) came up but that wasn’t the case. A line of Bellamy’s fans stood down the comedy club’s sidewalk awaiting a experience with the former MTV VJ. According to IMBD, Bellamy’s credits started 32 years ago with TV series, Bowen A’i Bartner.

Bill Bellamy will be returning back to his stomping grounds over at MTV. Today it was revealed that Bellamy will be one of the many guest on MTV’s newest series, 90’s House. Just like the title suggest, 90’s House will be a nostalgic game series looking to capture the 90’s era with Lance Bass and Christina Milian as the host. If you can recall, Bill got his early start on MTV’s Beach House back in the 90’s and since then has raised the level of his career.

MTV is traveling back to an unforgettable pop culture-filled decade — think boy bands, tamagotchis and jelly shoes. A brand-new competition series called 90’s House is premiering on September 26 and will celebrate all things related to this era. Time to party like it’s the 1990s 1999. The premise of the nostalgia-infused program: Lance Bass and Christina Milian will host the game show, which will place 12 millennial housemates in a ’90s-inspired house…..Bass and Milian will be joined by fan-favorite guest stars including Mario Lopez, Tatyana Ali, Michelle Williams, Joey Fatone, Marques Houston, Tyson Beckford, Salt N’ Pepa, Kid N’ Play, Bill Bellamy, Joey Lawrence, Kel Mitchell and Lori Beth. The past was such a blast.

Look out for the return of Bellamy as 90’s House is set to premiere on September 26 at 11/10c on MTV.
