You might recall that we covered Adam Scott & Craig Robinson’s new FOX series Ghosted in the past months and now West is joining the party. The announcement was revealed yesterday that she will play a tech-loving expert on the upcoming series who helps in investigations.
The Carmichael Show star, who became available with the late-June cancellation of that NBC comedy, has signed on to Fox comedy Ghosted as a series regular, the network has confirmed. Premiering Oct. 1, the show features Scott as a Stanford astrophysics professor-turned-bookstore-employee named Max and Robinson as an LAPD-detective-turned-mall-cop named Leroy. It appears that the paranormal world is becoming more and more relevant in mainstream television. It has now been announced that Craig Robinson and Adam Scott will be premiering an upcoming series at FOX called ‘Ghosted’. The series looks to be a mix of Men In Black and Ghostbusters. Watch the trailer.
GHOSTED is a single-camera, action-comedy about the unlikely partnership between two down-on-their-luck polar opposites tasked with an even more unlikely mission: saving the human race from aliens. LEROY WRIGHT (Robinson) is a cynical skeptic and former missing persons detective, who, if we’re speaking frankly, thinks that “aliens” are a big ole bunch of B.S. and that people who believe in them are certifiably nuts…People like MAX JENNIFER (Scott). Max is a genius “true believer” in the paranormal who’s convinced his wife was abducted by aliens. At low points in their lives, both Leroy and Max are recruited by CAPTAIN AVA LAFREY (Ally Walker, “Colony,” “Sons of Anarchy”), a take-no-prisoners, former Air Force test pilot and head of the Bureau Underground, a secret government organization investigating paranormal cases.
Craig Robinson is about to enter the paranormal world as he has just signed up for new FOX pilot, Ghosted. Not only will he be starring in the project, Craig is also one of the show’s executive producers. The project is supposed to be a more comical version of X-Files. Adam Scott plays opposite of Craig.
Fox has given a pilot order to single-camera comedy Ghosted from Tom Gormican with The Office alum Craig Robinson and Parks and Recreation’s Adam Scott set to star and executive produce. Fox landed the project last summer in a very competitive situation with a production commitment.Written by Gormican (That Awkward Moment), Ghosted centers on a cynical skeptic (Robinson), and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Scott), who are recruited by The Bureau Underground to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles – all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.

Craig Robinson is set to return back to theaters in an interesting comedy about a group of people who meet for the first time at a wedding. The comedy entitled Table 19 stars Anna Kendrick, with Robinson as one of the many guest. The film is expected to be released on January 20th.
Ex-maid of honor Eloise (Anna Kendrick) – having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text – decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend’s wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the ‘random’ table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets (but not before sending something nice off the registry). As everyone’s secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19. Friendships – and even a little romance – can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.
Currently sitting at the top with the #1 summer comedy sitcom, Craig Robinson talked with Complex magazine about his series ‘Mr. Robinson’. He explains the shows origin, Brandon T. Jackson playing his brother, and how got started in music and comedy. When throwing out some advice to comedians, Craig went on to say, “My advice to aspiring comedians for live stand-up I think you have to go hit the stages, and take your hits and bomb, fail miserably aand still come back from that.”
Last night, Craig Robinson and Brandon T. Jackson debuted their new sitcom ‘Mr. Robinson’ on NBC and things are off to a good start. The series which follows Robinson as a teacher with a passion for music, is being reported to currently be the most watched summer comedy premiere since 2009.
Welcome to the primetime neighborhood, “Mr. Robinson.” NBC’s Craig Robinson sitcom debuted to the biggest audience for a Big 4 comedy since 2007, with 4.6 million total viewers. It’s 1.2 demo among adults 18-49 is second-best per the same grouping since 2009.That number was good enough to help a soft “America’s Got Talent” deliver a demo win for NBC. Unfortunately, a second episode of “Mr. Robinson” didn’t fare quite as well as the first, posting a 1.0/4 with 3.8 million total viewers.
