Corey Holcomb Slams Mo’Nique On ‘The Breakfast Club’: “I Don’t Think Mo’Nique Is Funny”

This morning, Corey Holcomb ventured to ‘The Breakfast Club’ and would discuss several topics before performing at Carolines Comedy Club this weekend. The Chicago comedian would get a chance to weigh-in on several recent conversations happening in comedy.

While discussing Faizon Love’s criticism on Dave Chappelle, Corey would bring up Mo’Nique into the conversation. According to Corey, he feels that Mo’Nique isn’t funny, and she was out of line for her comments towards host Charlamagne Tha God during a recent visit. “She was arguing about that money .. I was like “She better take that money!,” Holcomb told listeners.

Other parts of their conversation went on to include Corey’s marriage, dating opinions, and Donald Trump. Check out the full conversation, below.

This morning Issa Rae and The Breakfast Club got up early to get us all ready for a new season of Insecure on HBO. Issa was able to touch on quiet a few things surrounding her career including her recent Emmy nomination snub. Despite being a highly praised series; Insecure did not received a nomination for this years Emmys. While speciffcally talking with CTHAGOD we here why Issa think she didn’t get nominated.

“It would have been a good look for season 2 but it makes me want to work harder…..I’m proud of the work… these things go how they go…. I think it’s just a visibility thing…”

Dave Chappelle Apologizes For ‘Chappelle Show’ Ending The Way It Did, Stops By The Breakfast Club

Dave Chappelle kept his promo run going with a stop over at The Breakfast Club. This was the first time we’ve seen Dave sit down with The Breakfast Club crew. He was able to cover many topics, like his take on artist today, Bill Cosby and of course The Chappelle Show. In one part of the interview he did go to mention that he was slightly apologetic about how his loved show ended.

I’m sorry the way it ended…. I enjoyed making that show … I miss it too…. I do have bad feeling on how it ended but not bad feelings on what it was…
