Before his unfortunate crash last year, Tracy Morgan was in preparation to begin production on a series for FXX. In response to the severe injuries received from the accident FXX decided to put the series on hold. With his now signs of improvement, it looks that the network is still prepping for the series to happen. FX recently updated news on project.
“We know he wants to do it,” FX Networks CEO John Landgraf told Deadline at TCA today, reiterating the company’s commitment to the series and its willingness to wait as long as it takes for Morgan to fully recover. I hear that Morgan does intend to do the FXX comedy series, and he has been in communication with the project’s writer, Chris Case. “We continue to work on developing the script,” said FX president of original programming Eric Schrier.
Tracy has been seen walking for the first time without his cane over the past weeks. The show goes on.
