Wanda Sykes (Alpha House, The New Adventures of Old Christine) has signed on for a guest starring stint on the fifth season of Showtime comedy series House Of Lies. Sykes will appear in least three episodes as Wanda, a love interest for Jeremiah (Glynn Turman) who becomes a much-needed confidante for Marty (Don Cheadle) as he looks to ascend from management mogul to global power player. Whelan will play Klare, Marty’s raw food chef girlfriend.

Her role on the series won’t be something she isn’t familiar with, before her marriage to now wife Alex Niedbalski, Sykes was in a heterosexual marriage. In July she talked with The Champs podcast about her first marriage.
