Tracy Morgan isn’t the only one making a return to comedy, stand-up comedian Ardie Fuqua who was injured along with Morgan last year is back on the stage. On Friday night, taking the same route as Morgan, Ardie hit the stage at New York City’s The Comedy Cellar to a crowd of attendees. As host of The Cellar’s 12:15AM show, Ardie was joined by the likes of Dave Attell, Greer Barnes, and Tony Woods. This marked as his first stand-up gig since last year’s crash in New Jersey with Morgan and entourage. Apart of his welcome back, fellow stand-up comedian Amy Schumer sent in flowers which he later shared the moment with fans online.
This is such a sweet gift! Amy Schumer sent flowers to the Comedy Cellar for me with a card that read WELCOME HOME! Thank you so much Amy! Thank you for being such an amazing friend and always being there for me!!!!
When it came to the actual moment of Ardie hitting the stage, he was brought up by Wil Sylvince to start the night.
