Its been close to 14 years since Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, and DL Hughley hit theaters as The Original Kings Of Comedy. Fast forward to today the popular comedy special may be returning back to theaters. Walter Latham who created and produced the 2000 film has decided to tap into the power of social media by leading an online campaign, #KingsOfComedy2015. With the campiagn he looks to gain awareness and create a demand to bring back the film which according to BoxOfficeMojo grossed over $38 million in theaters. Already he has gained support with several tweets from of a few known in comedy to help make some noise. With the re-release it is expected that the film will feature never before seen footage, exclusives, and more. Let see if the kings will return. #KingsOfComedy2015
