Will Smith is overseeing the development of a new Fresh Prince of Bel-Air spinoff series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In a new story on the movie star/rapper and his various commercial exploits, it is reported that Westbrook—a new company overseen by Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith—will be handling production. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air originally aired on NBC from 1990 to 1996. The beloved show was co-created by Quincy Jones and saw Smith portray a fictionalized version of himself across from the late James Avery, Janet Louise Hubert, Alfonso Ribeiro, and others.
