YouTube Picks Up Jordan Peele’s Comedic Sci-Fi With ‘Key & Peele’ Writer

Next year, we all will get a new project from the mind of Jordan Peele as it has been revealed that Peele has teamed up with a former writer (Charlie Sanders) of ‘Key & Peele’ to produce a new comedy sci-fi. It was announced today that YouTube Premium will stream this new series which according to Peele will be comprised of “twisted-ass science fiction stories.” The project will feature 6 episodes.

YouTube has ordered a six-episode run of the comedic sci-fi anthology series Weird City, from co-creators Jordan Peele and Key & Peele writer Charlie Sanders. Each episode of the show will feature an exploration into an issue that pertains to present day life, which can only be told through the lens of comedy and sci-fi. Weird City will make its debut on YouTube Premium next year.
